Brazil is a country that’s known for its idyllic beaches, incredible landscapes and a tropical climate with warm temperatures and occasional rain. The Fernando de Noronha archipelago lies in the Sate of Pernambuco, and you can reach the 21 islands from the city of Recife. Visit the Fernando de Noronha archipelago and discover all its treasures.

Fernando de Noronha isn’t exactly known for its large buildings or wide range of facilities, although visitors can’t help but fall in love with what it has to offer. In 2001 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and a visit to this small chain of islands will be well worth your while.

Its sandy beaches, with their crystal clear waters and palm trees, are stunningly beautiful. It’s one of the best places for scuba diving, as its waters offer fantastic visibility and are home to all types of coral, sharks and fish. And for surfers, riding the waves is one of the island’s main sports.

Apart from water sports, there is a wide  range of other activities to do in Fernando de Noronha, like visiting the National Marine Park, the Shark Museum or going turtle watching.

And if you love beaches with waves and crystal clear waters, there are several gems to discover.
