In June, Air Europa inaugurated its third destination in the United States with a new route to Boston.  The capital of Massachusetts is a top cultural destination, both for its array of museums and history. Boston is said to be the most European city in the United States as you can get around on foot or by public transport, amongst other things.

With a three-weekly flight frequency (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), the direct flight to Boston departs at 14:55, from the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, and lands in Boston at 16:45 (local time). The return flight from the capital of Massachusetts takes off at 23:40 and lands in Madrid at 12:30pm the next day.

An Airbus 330 will operate this route until 8 September 2017 with a capacity of 275 tourist class and 24 business class passengers.

Pedro Serrahima, Managing Director of Globalia, attended the cutting of the ribbon ceremony moments before boarding of the aircraft, displaying his great satisfaction with the opening of this new destination, through which Air Europa continues to expand in the US market and strengthen its position as a benchmark airline.

According to forecasts, occupation rates of over 80% are predicted for July and August; figures that guarantee the success of the operations.

The commitment to the US market that the air division of Globalia is making with this new route, is supported by the outstanding performance of the two other current US flight routes, Miami and New York, which between January and May transported some 103,000 passengers, a 40% increase on the same period of the previous year.

With BostonAir Europa now flies to a total of 20 destinations in the American continent, and continues to strengthen its position as the best flight option between America and Europe.   It offers direct flights from Madrid to Caracas, Lima, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Salvador da Bahia, Sao Paulo, Bogotá, Montevideo, Asunción, Buenos Aires, Guayaquil, HondurasSanto Domingo, Havana, New York, Miami, San Juan (Puerto Rico), Cancún and Punta Cana.

During the flight to Boston, passengers can enjoy our new healthy and organic menus created with origin and quality certified products, served both in business and tourist class. Business class passengers will also be able to choose from dishes specially created by renowned chef Martín Berasategui.

In addition, all Air Europa Airbus planes have a wifi and streaming service through which passengers can download a wide variety of audiovisual content to their mobile devices.
